Sports Massage

Injuries and conditions sustained through sport, work, day-to-day activities and postural related pain can all be treated with sports massage. It can be extremely beneficial after a period of illness, an accident or surgery.

Sports massage involves working on deep tissue and pressure points to release restriction, reduce pain and promote circulation and lymphatic drainage.  This type of massage can be painful although after treatment clients will experience considerable relief from the condition.  Subsequent treatments may be necessary.  In many cases, stretching and strengthening exercises of particular muscle groups will be prescribed for the client to speed up recovery.
